Child Pornography

Right. So, there’s been a lot of talk about this recently and one of the shocking opinions I’ve come across is that “viewing child pornography should not be an illegal offence because the person watching is not actually molesting a child.”

Sorry but I’m going to have to disagree with whoever is saying that at the time. That child’s abuse is all over the internet and can be viewed by whomever wishes. Do you honestly in your moronic mind not think that does any harm to whoever happened to be molested?

A child gets hurt over again every single time someone gets off on their pain and their suffering and the abuse they’re facing.

You know it’s messed up when as a survivor of molestation (I will never again call myself a victim) I consider myself lucky. I am so lucky there’s no video of my molestation going round the internet for people to find pleasure in. I’m lucky that he wasn’t that prepared.

I don’t know if I could handle knowing people all over the world were using me as an out for their sick fantasies.

Watching child pornography is not a “victimless crime”. That’s dangerous thinking. Anyone that possesses indecent images or videos of children deserve jail time. And longer jail time than say, 10 months.
